Gardiner, Anita Lynn, age 64 of St. Andrews and formerly of
New Town, passed away on Wednesday 24 2022 at home.
Born in Sherbrooke, she was the daughter of the late June and
Daniel Maclean.
Lynn worked doing various jobs including working in
the United States as a caregiver and many years working in
Canterbury, New Brunswick, until she moved back home to Nova
Scotia.
She worked for years at Myers Tea Room in Antigonish where
she made many great friends.
Lynn loved her family and friends, her cats, making puzzles,
painting, crocheting, and she loved to be outside in
nature.
Lynn is survived by Mandi Sharpe-Kuchka (Donald), Conner
Sharpe; Sisters; Ann (Rod) Chisholm, Betty Sharpe, and Judy (Jim)
Reeves; brother, David (Carolyn) Dupont; many nieces and nephews; a
special friend, Carry Dow; and many great friends.
Lynn was predeceased by her husbands David Gardiner and Keith
Rees.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will
be held Saturday September 10th at 2 pm at the Bethel
Community Church, South Lochaber with Rev. Freda Steeves
officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date in New Town
Cemetery.
